One Year Around the Sun ☀️

Hey my love,

I hope you’re as happy when reading this as I am right now. Yesterday was your 1st birthday, and I am really happy of the work your mom and I are doing. I know you propably won’t remember much of what’s happening now, but I want you to know that you bring so much happiness to us and those that love you. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch you grow. It has brought us too much happiness seeing you grow from a small baby, to taking your first steps, and finally running arounod the house, learning to clap your hands, responding to questions, and everything else in between.

The past year has been really interesting to say the least. I am greatful to be your dad; and I hope that as you grow, I become a good dad to you. I really want to do everything right. I don’t know how I’ll do that because I’ve never been here before, but I believe as God’s carried us in your first year on this planet, He’ll carry us in your second year and beyond. I really hope you grow knowing that I love you so much and that for you, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do; rivers I wouldn’t cross, or mountains I wouldn’t climb. I will work hard to ensure that I realize the life I envision for you and your mom. It brings me much joy to know that you’re well taken care of and I will work on ensuring that you grow up to live the life I want us to live.

I am looking forward to our next year together and I wanna make as much memories as possible. You really mean a lot to me and I love you so much.
